Part-Time Tellers – The following branch locations are currently seeking PART-TIME TELLERS to provide exceptional service to our members:

• Cave Springs
• West County

Hours are generally 20-28 per week, with Saturday mornings required. These positions are strictly part-time, but there is some potential for moving into a full-time position.

Requirements:

• 1 year of heavy cash handling experience, with teller experience a plus
• Exceptional customer service skills; friendly, upbeat personality
• Ability to multi-task, promote products and services
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to balance a cash drawer proficiently

Responsibilities:

• Process member transactions in an accurate, courteous manner
• Promote Vantage products and services
• Accurately balance and secure cash drawer daily
• Count, verify and package currency and coin
• Sell cashiers checks, travelers checks and money orders
• Cash checks, verifying identity, signature and availability of funds
• Follow all federal regulations and internal policies

Candidates must:

• Have a strong work ethic, professional appearance
• Be able to pass a background check including having a clean credit record
• Have a professional, pleasant and friendly manner
• Be dependable, available on most Saturday mornings

Part-Time Teller II – The following branch location is currently seeking a PART-TIME TELLER II to provide exceptional service to our members:

• Warrenton

Hours are generally 20-28 per week, with Saturday mornings required. This position is strictly part-time, but there is some potential for moving into a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Process member transactions which include but are not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments in the most courteous and efficient manner, both in person and on the telephone, on a daily basis
• Promote Vantage products and services; consistently cross-sells and actively refers members to the appropriate branch staff at every opportunity
• Accurately records and verifies receipt of cash, checks and other financial transactions;  balance and secure cash drawer daily
• In absence of the Lead Teller directs processing of night, mail and drop box transactions; sells cashier checks, corporate checks, travelers cheques and money orders; manages cash requirements for branch
• Assists with cash requirements for ATM, replenish supplies, fixing machine faults and balancing on a daily basis
• Assists with controlling non-cash items
• Assists with operational requirements
• Prepares reports and accurately maintains logs
• Completes special requirements such as check ordering, helping members with basic account inquiries, supports Marketing functions with special promotions and other community projects
• Participates in dual control functions; audit other tellers' currency
• Assists with training of new teller trainees
• Acts as a resource to staff; identifies and provides solutions to the more challenging member situations
• Follow all federal regulations and internal policies
• Maintains confidentiality of member and employee information
• Takes initiative to learn new skills or pursue training to enhance skill set
• May be required to report on completion of tasks, results of coaching or other assigned duties to the Lead Teller as designated by the Branch Manager

Part-Time Financial Services Representatives – We currently have openings at our Cave Springs, North County and West County locations for part-time Financial Services Representatives.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience, specifically in a credit union/financial setting
• Effective communication skills; ability to listen
• Excellent sales ability; good at cross-selling
• Organized and able to multi-task

Responsibilities:

• Interact with members to provide general credit information regarding lending policies and procedures
• Process loan applications and documents; correspond with members
• Compute new loan balances, terms, monthly payments, and insurance premiums, when necessary
• Meet/exceed monthly lending and cross-selling goals
• Audit new loans to verify accuracy of data
• Open new accounts
• Handle various clerical tasks
